Being a kid is where it’s at

Today we went to a museum showcasing gold and silver artifacts from South America. There were some pretty cool things there, involving a large collection of cups and straws for you Mate drinkers out there. Of course, most of it was in Spanish (save for the artifact names, they had an English translation) so I got to walk around and bypass the “adult” information and mostly just read the children’s abstract at the bottom. I’m proud to say that I was able to understand about 95% of this information! But of course, there was some good-natured ribbing. As one of my housemates put it “This is like a summary of all of this. Well, it’s actually written for the children but it will be good for you.” Thank you Vincente. Always looking out for me!
